What Keyboard Does Beaulo Use?

Beaulo's Rainbow Six Siege setup has gone through four keyboards since September 2022, each in a single stretch with no repeats. Across those four boards he has used three different switches.

The Logitech G Pro X Keyboard was the longest stay, a little over a year, and it ran until January 2024. The shortest was the Wooting 60HE+, which lasted 8.1 months before the Razer Huntsman V3 Pro Mini took over in September 2024.

The move to the Wooting 80HE Black in October 2025 puts him back on a Wooting after the Razer. It is the current board, and its 11.8 months are still counting.

Switches and actuation

The Wooting 80HE Black is sold with a wide choice of switches: Lekker Linear 45 v2, Lekker Linear 60 v2, Lekker Tikken Light, Lekker Tikken Medium, Geon Raw HE and Wooting x TTC KOM. That is a lot of range from one board, and it covers different weights and feels.

The PCB is hotswappable, so you are not locked into whatever you first buy. You can pull the switches and try another option without soldering. That helps if you are still working out which feel suits you in a tactical shooter like Siege.

The two Linear options are named for their numbers (45 and 60), so you can pick between a lighter and a heavier linear feel. The Tikken options come in Light and Medium.

Should you buy Beaulo's keyboard?

The Wooting 80HE Black is a TKL board with RGB and a hotswappable PCB. At 790g it has some heft, so it suits players who want a planted board on the desk and a compact layout without a numpad. It is available to buy now.

If you like the sound of it but want a different look, the Wooting 80HE+ Frost is the obvious pick. Six pros use it now, and it matches his board on weight, length, width and height, with the same switch options and hotswappable PCB.

The other two alternatives trade away hotswapping for different dimensions and switches:

• Razer Huntsman V3 Pro TKL Black (five pros use it now): 70 g lighter, 0.2 cm shorter, 1.8 cm wider and 1.06 cm taller. It uses Razer Analog Optical switches and a non-hotswappable PCB.
• SteelSeries Apex Pro TKL (2023) (four pros use it now): 0.6 cm shorter, 0.9 cm wider and 1.06 cm taller. It uses OmniPoint 2.0 switches and a non-hotswappable PCB.

In short, the Wooting boards give you the most switch choice and the lowest profile. The Razer and SteelSeries boards sit taller and fix you to their own switch type.
