Sinatraa x Matrix 80% Keyboard vs the standard model
This is a signature board made with Matrix, sold as the Sinatraa x Matrix 80% Keyboard (TKL). It is a tenkeyless layout with a hot-swappable PCB and RGB. Matrix's own listing adds a few more details:
- Gateron switch options: blue, red, speed silver, brown and optical yellow
- PBT double-shot keycaps
- 1000Hz polling
- water resistance
Matrix's owner describes the look as a Japanese theme, so it is as much a styled signature piece as a spec sheet. The footprint is on the larger side for a TKL, as the size comparison in the buying section shows.
sinatraa's keyboard history
There are only two entries here, and he has switched keyboards once. He started on the Logitech G Pro X Keyboard in September 2022 and used it for 3.7 months. In January 2023 he moved to the Matrix x sinatraa Keyboard, and that is still his board. It is by far the longer stint: 45.6 months (3.8 years).
Both boards are TKL and hot-swappable, so the move changed the board itself rather than the layout.

Switches and actuation
The Matrix board is sold with Gateron switches. The spec sheet lists Gateron Silver, and Matrix's listing offers blue, red, speed silver, brown and optical yellow. That covers the usual choices:
- Linear (red, silver): smooth, with no bump on the way down, popular for fast repeated taps.
- Tactile (brown): a small bump you can feel as the key registers.
- Clicky (blue): a bump plus an audible click.
- Optical (yellow): registers the press with light instead of a metal contact.
Because the PCB is hot-swappable, you are not locked into the switches the board ships with. You can pull them out and try another type without soldering.
Key binds
The binds table covers VALORANT and Marvel Rivals. In VALORANT, the weapon slots sit on the number row (1 to 4, including the spike). Abilities are on E, Q, C and X, so the left side of the main block handles nearly everything. Crouch is on Caps Lock and walk is on L-Shift.
Marvel Rivals follows a similar pattern: weapons on 1 and 2, melee on V, and abilities on E, L-Shift and F. The ultimate is on Q, and the three team-up abilities are on Z, X and C. L-Shift is walk in VALORANT but an ability key in Marvel Rivals, which is worth remembering if you copy both layouts.

Should you buy sinatraa's keyboard?
The Matrix x sinatraa Keyboard suits anyone who wants a TKL with hot-swappable switches and a distinctive signature design. The trade-off is size: at 42.5 cm wide it takes up more desk than the alternatives below, so check your desk space first.
- Logitech G Pro X Keyboard: 1 cm shorter, 6.5 cm narrower and 1 cm lower. It is also hot-swappable, with GX Blue, Brown and Red options. This is the board he used before the Matrix.
- Logitech G Pro X TKL RAPID Black: 1.5 cm shorter, 6.8 cm narrower and 0.7 cm lower. It uses optical switches but is not hot-swappable.
- Logitech G715: 0.8 cm shorter, 5.5 cm narrower and 0.7 cm lower. It offers GX Blue, Red and Brown switches but is not hot-swappable.
All three are TKL, so the layout stays the same. What you give up is the hot-swappable PCB on the RAPID and G715, and the signature look on all three. What you gain is a more compact board.
