premfn's keyboard history
premfn's keyboard history is a lot of back and forth. Since March 2024 he has had 8 periods across 4 different models, with 7 switches between them.
He started on the Razer Huntsman V3 Pro Mini, and that stint of 8.7 months is still his longest on a single keyboard. He went back to the Huntsman once, so it adds up to 10.8 months in total. The SteelSeries Apex Pro Mini Black is the model he has come back to most. He returned to it twice, and its three periods add up to 11.0 months, the most time on any model.
The Wooting 60HE+ came in October 2025 and he returned to it once, for 4.4 months in total. The Wooting 60HE v2 Black followed in May 2026. It is a single run so far, at 5.4 months. It is also the only board in his history that he has not left and come back to.

Switches and actuation
The Wooting 60HE v2 Black is sold with six switch options: Lekker Linear 45 v2, Lekker Linear 60 v2, Lekker Tikken Light, Lekker Tikken Medium, Wooting x TTC KOM and Geon Raw HE. Going by the names, there are two linear options, two Tikken options in light and medium weights, and two more from the Wooting x TTC and Geon lines.
The PCB is hotswappable, so you are not locked into whichever switch the board ships with. You can try a different one without soldering. That matters on a board you use for fast movement and building inputs in Fortnite, where feel is mostly a personal choice.
Key binds
The bind table shows a layout built around the left hand. Crouch sits on C, jump on Space and sprint on L-Shift. Walls, floors, stairs, roofs and traps are on X, Q, E and T, with rotate on R and edit on F. All of those are within easy reach on a 60% board.
Weapon slots start on the 2 key and run up to 6. Turbo Building and Confirm Edit on Release are both switched on, so the keyboard side of building and editing stays quick and low on extra presses.

Should you buy premfn's keyboard?
The Wooting 60HE v2 Black suits anyone who wants a compact 60% board without a numpad or function row. It is hotswappable and has RGB. At 606g and 30.5 cm wide, it is a solid, compact board that is easy to fit next to a mouse. It is available to buy now.
If you want something close, these are the alternatives:
- Wooting 60HE+ has the same switch options and a hotswappable PCB, and 11 pros use it now. Compared with the v2 it is 1 g lighter, 0.1 cm longer, 0.3 cm narrower and 1 cm taller.
- SteelSeries Apex Pro Mini Black uses OmniPoint 2.0 switches on a non-hotswappable PCB, and 8 pros use it now. It is 4 g heavier, 1.2 cm shorter, 1.2 cm narrower and 1.24 cm taller. It suits you if you like a smaller footprint and don't plan to swap switches.
- Razer Huntsman V3 Pro Mini uses Razer Analog Optical switches, also non-hotswappable, and 4 pros use it now. It is 0.1 cm shorter, 0.7 cm narrower and 1 cm taller. It is a good fit if you prefer Razer's switch type and don't need to change switches later.
The trade-off comes down to switch choice. The Wooting boards let you change switches, while the SteelSeries and Razer boards keep you on their own switch types.
