The history table shows five periods across four different models. The story is Logitech first, then a move to Wooting.

The Logitech G Pro X Keyboard is the anchor of the list. His longest stretch on one board was on it (11.5 months, October 2024 to October 2025). He also came back to it after a short run on the Logitech G Pro X TKL RAPID Magenta, which brings his total time on the G Pro X to 16.3 months (1.4 years).

The change that matters came in April 2026, when he moved to the Wooting 80HE Black. After 1.4 months he moved to the Wooting 80HE+ Frost (Lekker Tikken Medium) in June 2026, and that is the board he is on now (4.3 months so far). Both Wooting boards are TKL, and the 80HE Black has the same dimensions and weight as his current one. So the step from the 80HE Black to the 80HE+ Frost was not a change in size.

In total there have been four switches between boards, and the only return to a previous model was the G Pro X.

Switches and actuation

The model name tells you his switch: Lekker Tikken Medium. The 80HE+ Frost is sold with a wider set of options: Lekker Linear 45 v2, Lekker Linear 60 v2, Lekker Tikken Light, Lekker Tikken Medium, Geon Raw HE and Wooting x TTC KOM. Medium is the heavier of the two Tikken options in that lineup by name, with Light sitting next to it.

The PCB is hotswappable, so the switch choice is not locked in. If you like the board but want a different feel, you can pick another switch from that list and swap it in without soldering.

Should you buy kyousuke's keyboard?

The 80HE+ Frost is a TKL board. It suits players who want a compact layout with the number pad gone, but still want the arrow cluster and function keys. It weighs 790g, so it is a solid board that stays put on the desk. The hotswappable PCB is a plus if you like to experiment with switches.

If you are weighing alternatives, here is what each one trades off:

• Wooting 80HE Black: same size and weight as his current board, and the same switch options. It is used by 8 pros right now, and it is the board he used before the 80HE+ Frost.
• Razer Huntsman V3 Pro TKL Black: 70 g lighter and 0.2 cm shorter front to back, but 1.8 cm wider and 1.06 cm taller. It uses Razer Analog Optical switches and the PCB is not hotswappable. 5 pros use it now.
• SteelSeries Apex Pro TKL (2023): 0.6 cm shorter front to back, 0.9 cm wider and 1.06 cm taller. It uses OmniPoint 2.0 switches and the PCB is not hotswappable. 4 pros use it now.

In short, the Wooting boards are the pick if you want to change switches later. The Razer and SteelSeries boards are taller and tied to their own switch type.
