Switches and actuation
The Logitech G Pro Keyboard is sold with Romer-G Tactile switches. Tactile means you feel a small bump as the key registers, but it doesn't click loudly like a clicky switch. For a game like Fortnite, where you hit a lot of keys in quick succession, that kind of feedback can make it easier to tell when a press has gone through.
The PCB is non-hotswappable, so the switches are soldered in and can't be swapped without desoldering. If you like trying different switch types, that's the main limit of this board. The Logitech G Pro X Keyboard has the same size and weight but is hotswappable and comes in GX Blue Clicky, GX Brown Tactile and GX Red Linear options.
Key binds
The table has the full layout. A few things stand out in practice:
- Weapon and tool keys are split. The Harvesting Tool and the first three weapon slots sit on the number row (1 to 4), and slots 4 and 5 move to Z and X.
- Building lives on the left side of the board. Wall, Stairs, Roof, Trap, Rotate and Edit are on Q, F, V, T, R and G.
- L-Shift does double duty. It's both Sprint and Floor, so those two actions share one key.
Jump stays on Space Bar, Crouch is on L-Ctrl and Use is on E.

Should you buy DrLupo's keyboard?
This is a TKL board, so you get the main keys and arrows without a numpad. That suits players who want more desk space for mouse movement but still want a full-size feel and RGB lighting. It's a solid, heavy keyboard, so it fits a fixed desk setup better than a travel one. The tactile Romer-G switches suit anyone who wants a bump in the key press without the noise of a clicky switch.
If you want more flexibility, here is what the alternatives trade off:
- Logitech G Pro X Keyboard: the same weight and dimensions as DrLupo's board, but hotswappable and available with GX Blue Clicky, GX Brown Tactile or GX Red Linear. It's the easy choice if you want to pick your switch type.
- Logitech G Pro X TKL RAPID Black: 30 g lighter, 0.5 cm shorter and 0.3 cm narrower, but 0.3 cm taller. It uses optical switches and a non-hotswappable PCB.
- Logitech G715: 5 g lighter, 0.2 cm longer, 1 cm wider and 0.3 cm taller. It comes with GX Blue Clicky, GX Red Linear and GX Brown Tactile switches, and the PCB is non-hotswappable.
