Switches and actuation
The G613 is a full-size board sold with Romer-G Tactile switches. Tactile means each press has a small bump you can feel, so you get feedback without the click of a Blue-style switch. It is the only switch option the G613 is offered with.
The PCB is non-hotswappable, so the switches are soldered in and cannot be swapped without desoldering. The board also has no RGB. It is a plain, functional keyboard, and at 1460 g it is a heavy one that stays put on the desk.
Key binds
The Fortnite binds are in the table above. A few things stand out in how the board is laid out for the game:
- Number row does a lot of work. The harvesting tool and most weapon slots sit on the number keys. Floor and roof building are also up there, on 8 and 0.
- Left Shift has two jobs. It is both sprint and building edit.
- Core building pieces stay on the left hand. Wall is on Q, stairs on F and trap on T, with rotate on R.
- Confirm Edit on Release is on.

Should you buy Daequan's keyboard?
The G613 suits anyone who wants a full-size board with a number row and a solid, heavy build. The binds above lean on the number keys, so a layout that keeps that row is useful. It is also a good fit if you like a tactile feel and don't need RGB. The trade-offs are size and weight: it is the largest board in this comparison, and the switches cannot be swapped.
If you want something smaller or lighter, these are the alternatives:
- Corsair K70 RGB MK.2: 210 g lighter, 5.4 cm shorter and 4 cm narrower, but 0.5 cm taller. It comes in a wide range of Cherry MX options, including Red, Brown, Blue, Silent, Speed and the low-profile versions. It also has RGB.
- Xtrfy K2 RGB: 249 g lighter, 7.6 cm shorter and 3.8 cm narrower, 0.3 cm taller. It uses Kailh Red switches and has RGB.
- Razer Huntsman V3 Pro: 7.7 cm shorter and 0.5 cm taller, but 2 cm wider. It uses Razer Analog Optical switches and has RGB.
All three are full size with non-hotswappable PCBs, like the G613. The real choice is between the G613's tactile Romer-G feel and a lighter, more compact board with a different switch type.
