Switches and actuation
The Ducky One 2 Mini Pure White is sold with three Cherry MX options: Red, Brown and Blue. Each one feels different when you press it:
- Cherry MX Red is a linear switch. It has a smooth press with no bump.
- Cherry MX Brown is tactile. You feel a small bump on the way down, but it stays quiet.
- Cherry MX Blue is clicky. It gives a bump and an audible click, which is satisfying but loud.
The PCB is non-hotswappable, so the switches are soldered in. Whichever type you order is the one you are stuck with unless you are ready to desolder. Pick the feel you want before you buy.
Key binds
Selly's Apex Legends layout is built around the left side of the keyboard. Crouch is on L-Ctrl and sprint on L-Shift, with auto-sprint turned off. Tactical sits on Q, ultimate on Z, and interact on E with X as the alternate interact.
The healing and shield items are on the number row, 5 to 9. Weapon slots 1 and 2 and holster on 3 sit next to them, and the grenade is on G. All of this uses letters, the number row and the modifier keys, which are exactly what a 60% layout keeps. Inventory has two keys (Tab and I), and map is on M.

Should you buy Selly's keyboard?
The 60% form factor suits anyone who wants a small, compact board. It has no number pad and no extra clusters, and it leaves the desk clear. If you like to keep your setup tight, this size is the appeal. The Ducky One 2 Mini Pure White is a plain, straightforward board with RGB. Its main limit is the soldered PCB, so you cannot swap switches later.
If you want something close to it, these are the alternatives:
- Ducky One 2 Mini has the same length, width and height, and the same Cherry MX Red, Brown or Blue options. It is the pick if you want the same board in its standard version.
- Pulsar PCMK 3 is a little smaller (0.2 cm shorter, 0.6 cm narrower, 0.1 cm lower). It is hotswappable and comes with Gateron x Pulsar switches, so you can change the feel later.
- Wooting 60HE+ is 0.8 cm longer, the same width and 0.2 cm lower. It is hotswappable and offers a wide range of switches, including Lekker Linear, Lekker Tikken, Wooting x TTC KOM and Geon Raw HE.
In short, choose the Ducky if you want a simple Cherry MX board in this exact size. Choose the Pulsar or the Wooting if being able to change switches matters more to you.
