shroud's keyboard history
shroud's keyboard history is three periods and three different models, all from Logitech's G Pro X line. The history table has the dates. Here is how it reads in practice.
- Logitech G Pro X Keyboard Shroud Edition: the first board in the history, used for 11.9 months.
- Logitech G Pro X TKL Keyboard Black: a 16.9 month (1.4 years) stretch, and the longer of his first two boards.
- Logitech G Pro X TKL RAPID Black: the current board, in use since February 2025. At 20.6 months (1.7 years) it is already his longest period on a single keyboard.
He has switched twice and has never gone back to an earlier board. Each change moved him to the next board in the same product line.

Switches and actuation
The Logitech G Pro X TKL RAPID Black is listed with optical switches. Below are the switch types in the Logitech boards that make sense as alternatives, and what each one feels like.
- Linear (GX Red, GL Linear): a smooth press with no bump or click. Easy to repeat quickly, and the quietest of the three.
- Tactile (GX Brown, GL Tactile): a small bump when the key registers, so you can feel the actuation point without extra noise.
- Clicky (GX Blue, GL Clicky): a bump plus an audible click. Satisfying to type on, but the loudest option.
Actuation is the point in the key travel where a press registers. Linear switches give no feedback at that point, tactile ones give a bump, and clicky ones add sound. When comparing boards, choose the feel first.
Key binds
shroud's main game is Marvel Rivals, and its binds sit mostly around the left hand. Abilities are on E, L-Shift and F, and the ultimate is on Q. The three team-up abilities are lined up on Z, X and C right below. Primary and secondary weapons are on the number keys 1 and 2, and melee is on V.
The same keys show up in his other games. V is melee in Deadlock and Apex Legends as well. L-Shift and L-Ctrl handle movement (dash, sprint, walk, crouch and slide) across Deadlock, VALORANT, Apex Legends, PUBG and Fortnite. F is the use or interact key in VALORANT, PUBG and Fortnite. The full per-game tables are above, so you can copy whichever layout you want.

Should you buy shroud's keyboard?
The G Pro X TKL RAPID Black is a tenkeyless board, so there is no number pad. That leaves more desk room beside the keyboard. It is a non-hotswappable board, so the switches are fixed, and that matters if you like to experiment with switch types. It is on sale now.
If you want something close, here is what each alternative trades off:
- Logitech G Pro X Keyboard: the same TKL layout, but hotswappable and offered with GX Blue, Brown or Red switches. It is 30 g heavier, 0.5 cm longer, 0.3 cm wider and 0.3 cm lower. It suits anyone who wants to choose or change their switches.
- Logitech G715: also TKL, with the same switch choices and a non-hotswappable PCB. It is 25 g heavier, 0.7 cm longer and 1.3 cm wider, with the same height. It suits a slightly bigger board with a similar build.
- Logitech G915 TKL Carbon: a much lower profile, 1.9 cm lower and 136 g lighter, with GL Clicky, Tactile or Linear switches. It is 1 cm wider and 0.1 cm longer. It suits anyone who prefers a flatter, lighter board.
